ActionRising was a platform to help people and communities share, discover, and follow political calls to action. Anyone could create an action (starting from a simple title and description) and enrich it with deadlines, locations, tags, and other details so others could find actions that fit their time and energy. Individuals and organizations could follow people whose actions they trusted, and updates to an action appeared everywhere it was shared—designed so corrections and withdrawals weren’t lost in social-media resharing.

The live site at actionrising.com is no longer online (the domain has since been parked). The codebase is still available on GitHub, and an earlier version of the site is preserved in the Wayback Machine (including the About page).
