Programming
I’ve been programming for fun and for work since I learned how five years ago. When I started, I was doing a lot of lab research, so my primary language was Matlab. Since then, I’ve picked up PHP, Python, and a little bit of Javascript, C# and Java. I also occasionally tutor people in programming, primarily research scientists. You can look at my projects below, or visit Github to check out some of the free software projects I contribute to.

Box Lab
I’m processing/analyzing large quantities of audio, video and sensor data using primarily python and C#. Everything – scripts, data, and documentation – should hopefully be online by the end of the year.
Laser Lab
I created a software program in Matlab which enabled students to set up experiments and record and process data obtained using multiple recording devices including camera and oscilloscope.
Moral Psychology Lab
I worked on a number of projects which used Matlab to create stimuli and to process and analyze neuroimaging data. I also created several websites using PHP and Javascript to do behavioral studies online. Most of this work is available on request.
